Raised metal garden beds full of plants sit inside a fenced garden space, surrounded by mulch and child-friendly tools.

Who are we?
The Valley Fellowship is a nature-based nonprofit rooted in Sullivan County, New York.
We believe that when children have space to grow, move, and explore together, it fosters healthy choices, deep bonds, and lifelong curiosity. By providing opportunities to garden, interact with animals, and learn the rhythm of the natural world, we help them build empathy, confidence, and a sense of stewardship for the world around them.
What do we do?
We design programs that make nature accessible, joyful, and meaningful for young children and their families.
Roots & Boots is our hands-on garden and agricultural learning program where children and volunteers help care for plants, soil, and small livestock while exploring the seasonal rhythms of food production.
Nurturing a love of nature, community, and lifelong learning
